The Little Prince

The novel tells the story of a pilot stranded in the vast Sahara Desert after a plane crash, who meets a little prince from another planet. The Little Prince is a melancholic, tender-hearted child who comes from a very tiny planet—so small that everything on it is miniature. He is prone to sadness, and his delicate soul is filled with sensitivity and gentle emotion. It is this heart-rending little prince who encounters the narrator in the solitude of the Sahara. Gradually, they open their hearts to one another. As we follow their journey, we cry with the Little Prince, we laugh with him, and through the author’s eyes, we ourselves become children again—rediscovering the innocence and wonder we once lost.
